I teach core shamanism to my students at the shaman school, and I am also a practicing shaman and healer, and I work for people and nature.
I am now in this life in my fourth incarnation as a shaman.
My connection with nature prepared the foundation for my development as a shaman, and the development continues as I gradually develop together with my spiritual helpers and guides, power animals and the elements of nature.
I have taught shamanism at my shaman school in Norway from 2014 to 2025. From 2025 I moved the shaman school from Norway to Panama in Central America.
I have traveled the world and spent a lot of time out in nature on longer and shorter expeditions and trips. The expeditions have been in many different climate zones under all imaginable conditions, which has brought me in close contact with the elements of nature.
I see nature as a great teacher. This has been the foundation for my path into shamanism, I just needed to fine-tune my approach, and learn the healing methods from an experienced shaman. That fine-tuning started when I began shaman training a few years ago under the expert guidance of Ailo Gaup. Ailo passed to the other side in 2014, and he was also the author of several books on the subject, and he was one of the world's foremost shamans.
The healing methods I learned are based on tens of thousands of years of traditions from all continents. I feel honored to have been given this opportunity to learn from a master, and I would also like to thank my spiritual helpers, power animals, and shaman colleagues for supporting my shamanic work.
My task is to make healing work, and pass on the ancient knowledge to others.
Keep the fire alive!
Shaman Greetings,
Øyvind Martinsen
